According to reports from GistLover, Sanku tragically lost his life in a car accident alongside a friend on Monday, September 1. He was immediately taken to a hospital but was declared dead shortly after arrival.

The incident reportedly occurred while Sanku was returning home to Ogbomoso after a shoot in Ilorin. Authorities suggested that the vehicle was overspeeding, lost control, and ultimately crashed into a canal.
