Following many days of expressing his willingness to spar with Twitter commenter Daniel Regha, Nigerian comedian and singer Lawal “Nasboi” Nasiru has reconciled.
Remember when Nasboi had suggested a boxing match between himself and the outspoken critic who had messaged him for the second time with unwanted advice?
In the midst of the excitement around the skit creator’s recently released song, “Umbrella,” which is receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from peers and fans, Regha sent him a direct message (DM) encouraging him to tone down his yelling and concentrate more on his breath control.
Because of this, Nasboi chose to square off with Daniel Regha in a boxing contest, like Charles Okocha and Portable, and requested Daniel to choose a date.
But on Wednesday night, the comedian said on Twitter that Regha is his man and that the whole feud was a publicity stunt.
In order for them to do the dance challenge for his song Umbrella, he connected with the Twitter influencer. In preparation, the content producer posted a photoshopped picture of Daniel and himself in a room.
Nasboi wrote; “Daniel Regha I want to do this umbrella dance with you. @DanielRegha”
He added; “Me and my guy Dey together. Na just PR. Dance video soon. Cc @DanielRegha”
