Reacting after the interview began trending, Deeone disclosed that he once shared a personal relationship with Veekee James shortly after he returned from Big Brother Naija in 2018.
He stated that he was surprised by her comments, noting that there has never been any animosity between them. According to him, their relationship ended simply because they were incompatible.
While describing Veekee James as a kind person, Deeone admitted that he found certain aspects of her personality difficult to deal with, particularly what he felt was a controlling nature.
“I don’t like being controlled,” he said. “There’s no bad blood between us, and it’s not as if I treated her badly. This isn’t new informationnpeople in the industry already know, and even her husband, Mr Femi James, is aware.”
