Sheila Courage, the estranged wife of Davido’s logistics manager Israel DMW, is celebrating a new milestone after acquiring her first car.
Taking to Instagram, Sheila shared photos of herself with the new ride while opening up about her personal struggles and spiritual journey.
“I Had Everything but Felt Empty”
According to Sheila, she reached a point in her life where she had all she wanted materially, yet she felt an overwhelming emptiness. She described the period as depressing, noting that nothing seemed to bring her genuine joy.
She explained that her breakthrough came when she realized what was missing—her relationship with God.
Restored Joy Through Faith
Sheila revealed that after seeking counsel from her pastor and mother, she rededicated herself to her walk with God. She emphasized that true joy is rooted in faith, not emotions, and that her spiritual renewal restored her happiness.
Encouraging others who might be struggling, she wrote:
“You are not too damaged, too broken, or too far gone for God to reach and do wonders with. He loves you even in your mess, so let Him turn that mess into a message. Go back to the potter’s house.”
Concluding her testimony, Sheila joked about the caption she initially wanted to use for her new car:
“My caption for my car was going to be, ‘If you see me drive by, comot for road, I be learner.’ But yo, I ain’t no learner no more o, I dey match am well.”
