Sheikh Gumi’s Son Abdulrahman Ahmad Graduates from Nigerian Defence Academy

Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi’s son, Abdulrahman Ahmad, has successfully graduated from the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

Former Kaduna senator, Shehu Sani, announced the milestone in a post on his X handle, congratulating the young officer and wishing him well in his service to the nation.

Sheikh Gumi’s son Abdulrahman Ahmad graduated from the Nigerian Defence Academy; congratulations and wishing him all the best in the service to our country,” Sani wrote alongside a photo of Abdulrahman in uniform standing beside his father.

The NDA, located in Kaduna State, is the country’s foremost military training institution, producing officers for the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Graduating from the academy is considered a significant achievement, as cadets undergo rigorous academic and military training before commissioning.
