Billionaire and politician Ned Nwoko has responded to recent rumors regarding his relationship with Regina Daniels, denying claims that he wants her to return to his home.
The clarification follows comments from the actress, who publicly urged him to leave her alone, stating that he is drawing attention to their personal matters in public while supposedly pleading with her privately.
In a statement from his representatives, Ned claimed that Regina’s recent actions were influenced by hard drugs, asserting that many of her behaviors and statements were misleading or untrue.
“Regina had not displayed violent tendencies before, but over the past eight months, she began lying, neglecting personal hygiene, and allowing her surroundings to become untidy. Ned had to encourage her to maintain cleanliness and use her room properly. When Phyna and her friends got involved, he tolerated them only to manage the situation,” the statement said.
The statement also referenced a WhatsApp message dated October 17, in which Ned reportedly gave her a firm warning: “Return to rehabilitation, or I will no longer support your lifestyle.”
According to the statement, Regina allegedly reacted violently to the message, damaging vehicles and other property. Ned also recounted an incident in which he found her recording him in his bathroom and sharing the video online.
“I woke up around 5 a.m. to use the bathroom and discovered Regina filming me. She posted the video online. This illustrates how erratic her behavior had become,” he explained.
The statement further noted that Regina was reportedly making progress in rehabilitation until her birthday, when she allegedly hosted a four-day hotel party in Wuse 2, which involved drugs, disturbances, and confrontations with law enforcement.
Ned’s team appealed to those around her to ensure she receives proper therapy, emphasizing the importance of her wellbeing for the sake of her children.
