“She Trusted Me With Her Kids”- Baba Ijesha Speaks On Iyabo Ojo

Popular Nollywood comedian Olanrewaju Omiyinka, widely known as Baba Ijesha, recently revealed that actress Iyabo Ojo had, at one point, entrusted her children to his care.

He made this disclosure while addressing allegations of pedophilia in his first interview since his release from prison.

GistLover reported that in 2021, comedian Damilola Adekoya, also known as Princess, accused Baba Ijesha of sexually abusing her 14-year-old foster daughter. In 2022, the Lagos State High Court convicted him, and he served his sentence before being released in November 2025.

During a conversation with actress Biola Adebayo on the Talk to B podcast on Sunday, Omiyinka denied ever molesting a child. He emphasized that Iyabo Ojo had once left her children, Priscilla and Festus, under his supervision.

Baba Ijesha also addressed a viral video circulating online, claiming it was orchestrated by Princess. Expressing feelings of betrayal, he said, “Princess betrayed everyone around her. I have never asked her out or kissed her. What hurts me most is that Iyabo Ojo trusted me with Priscilla and her brother when they were younger. She is like family to me, and I will not speak ill of her.”

It is worth noting that Iyabo Ojo publicly supported Princess throughout the legal proceedings and had vowed to ensure Baba Ijesha was imprisoned.
