Social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has shared his perspective on the ongoing conflict between singer Cynthia Morgan and music executive Jude Okoye.
According to VDM, he recently met Jude Okoye at an event, where their conversation led to a deeper discussion about the long-standing feud. During their interaction, Jude allegedly clarified details surrounding his former contract with Cynthia Morgan, famously known for her hit “German Juice.”
Addressing the controversy over the use of her stage name, Jude reportedly showed VDM a 2016 video in which Cynthia publicly introduced a new identity, “Madrina,” suggesting the name change was her own decision not a restriction imposed by him.
VDM went on to reveal that the total royalties Cynthia earned since her rise to fame amounted to just $3,860 far less than the public had believed. He admitted feeling embarrassed after confronting Jude Okoye with incomplete information, especially after the music executive provided documents and evidence of financial investments made in Cynthia’s career.
The activist concluded that Cynthia Morgan owes Jude a public apology for the reputational damage caused by her online accusations.
