Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to fresh allegations made against her by colleague Lizzy Anjorin, calling on fans to ignore the ongoing drama and instead showing concern for Lizzy’s state of mind.
The response came shortly after Lizzy accused Iyabo of being responsible for the death of late singer Destiny Boy, a claim that quickly stirred reactions across social media.
Addressing the issue during a TikTok Live session, Iyabo urged her supporters not to engage with Lizzy, insisting that confrontation would only worsen the situation. According to her, Lizzy is no longer the same person she once knew.
“She is not normal. She is not the same Liz who used to dance and sell her products. I don’t know where her trouble started,” Iyabo said.
She added that at this stage, prayer is the only thing she can offer, as she believes Lizzy needs professional medical help.
“The only thing I can do at this stage of her madness is to pray for her,” she stated.
Iyabo also expressed disappointment that Lizzy’s husband has not sought medical attention for his wife, stressing that such help is necessary.
Reacting to claims that she cursed Lizzy’s child, Iyabo firmly denied the allegation, saying she would never wish harm on any child. She noted that despite the constant attacks, she has chosen to focus on her personal growth and her children’s achievements.
“As she is cursing me, I am progressing, and my children are making it. Why should I be angry?” she said.
Concluding her remarks, Iyabo maintained that Lizzy’s actions are driven by stress and delusion, insisting that without medical treatment, the situation may continue.
“If they don’t take her for medical treatment, she is not going to stop. I really feel so bad for her. She needs help,” she added.
