In other news….. Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, widely known as Ogogo, has opened up about a life-threatening health scare, revealing how he discovered he was suffering from a severe ulcer.
In a recent chat with Feel Right News TV, Ogogo credited actress Remi Surutu for helping him identify the early warning signs of his illness.
He recalled feeling unusually weak while on a film set, which forced him to stop shooting. Observing his condition, Remi Surutu suggested that he might be dealing with an ulcer.
The following day, Ogogo underwent medical tests at a hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had developed an ulcer.
He recounted enduring a grueling seven-month period during which eating was nearly impossible, as it would trigger vomiting blood.
Expressing deep gratitude for his recovery, Ogogo attributed his survival to divine intervention and pledged to always thank God for his life.
According to Ogogo, he said, “While I was on a movie set, I felt very weak, and I couldn’t continue with the film making so I decided to take a break. It was actress Remi Surutu that came to me and told me that I was having an ulcer due to the kind of symptoms I complained about. On the next day, I went to the hospital to conduct a medical check up, and it was discovered that I actually had an ulcer. I couldn’t eat for 7 months, and anytime I tried to eat, I would vomit the food with blood. It was God that healed me and got me out of the situation, and that’s why I will always thank God.”
