Following the release of a video of Mr Ibu, renowned singer Seun Kuti took to Instagram to urge for the establishment of a socialist community in Nigeria.
Since the video’s release, numerous major celebrities and influencers have weighed in, including VeryDarkMan, who branded the film “embarrassing.”
In Nigeria, we have a capitalist system, and Seun Kuti, the son of legendary musician Fela Kuti, is strongly opposed to it.
Today, Seun Kuti posted on his Facebook page, emphasizing the importance of a socialist government. He stated;
“I say let’s build a socialist society where everyone’s basic needs are catered for, you say noooooo! I am a capitalist then u start begging for donation and giveaway. Come here first – Are you mad?”
