- Okeke reportedly paid for his medical expenses out of pocket and did not receive compensation from Iyke.

Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has reignited his long-standing feud with colleague Jim Iyke, criticizing the actor’s newly released movie.
The rift between the two stars stems from an earlier incident on the set of one of Iyke’s films, where Okeke sustained an injury and allegedly bore the medical costs himself without compensation. Following the incident, Okeke repeatedly called out Iyke on social media, drawing the attention of fellow industry practitioners to the matter.
In his latest post, Okeke questioned the reported ₦9 billion budget for Iyke’s new film, Sin, which was released on Prime Video. He alleged that the budget could not have been genuinely spent on the production and suggested Iyke should refund the streaming platform.
Okeke further mocked his colleague, referring to him as “Sakamajay,” a term implying dishonesty, and labeled him a “waste pie” in the same post.
Reactions from fans were mixed. While some tried to understand the origin of the dispute, others who claimed to have watched the movie shared negative feedback about it.
Responding indirectly, Jim Iyke posted a cryptic video on social media. In the clip, a man explained that offending someone is like receiving a life sentence rather than a temporary punishment. Fans quickly tagged Gideon Okeke under the post, fueling the ongoing drama between the two actors.
