The premiere of the late Allwell Ademola’s debut cinema directorial project, Kilanko (The Invincible Child), was held on Wednesday, March 5, 2026, in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event drew numerous Nollywood stars and prominent figures from the entertainment world, all coming out to honor the late actress and support actor Rotimi Salami, the film’s producer.

Guests in attendance included Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, NURTW president MC Oluomo, Saidi Balogun, Ashabi Simple, Biola Bayo, Kemity, and Muyiwa Ademola, among others, who all showcased stylish white attire.

A standout moment of the premiere was the heartfelt reactions from celebrities during the film screening.

Rotimi Salami’s young daughter, Bliss Salami, also stole the spotlight. She delivered a touching speech thanking everyone for their support of both her father and the late Allwell Ademola, earning praise from fans on social media.

“We thank everyone who came, thank you so much for your love and don’t forget to watch Kilanko on March 6, tell everyone you know to come and watch Kilanko,” she said in a video.
