Nollywood star Ronke Ojo-Anthony, popularly known as Ronke Oshodioke, has addressed criticism from a fan over her recent post about fellow actress Aunty Ajara.

Aunty Ajara, who has been hospitalized and fighting for her life, received public appeals from colleagues seeking support for her ongoing treatment. Oshodioke had shared a video highlighting her efforts to rally assistance from fans. However, one critic accused her of spending lavishly at events while failing to contribute to Aunty Ajara’s medical care.

Responding to the remark, Oshodioke revealed that she has already contributed N5 million to Aunty Ajara’s treatment an effort largely unknown to the public. She also mentioned that a single donor gave N500,000 and later publicized their contribution, claiming it was their way of helping the actress.

Oshodioke challenged the critic, questioning whether they had ever witnessed her “spraying money” at parties and urging them to direct their complaints to those who actually engage in such displays.

In a stern message, she warned that she would not tolerate disrespect this year and promised to respond firmly to anyone who crosses her. She also reflected on her own experience, noting that when she was unwell, her colleagues assisted her without making it public.

The actress concluded by saying that many people approach her daily for help, and she does her best to support them in whatever way she can.
