Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has become emotional after publicly confirming that her drug test result came back negative, putting to rest months of intense speculation, rumours, and damaging accusations.

The actress shared the update on her social media page, posting photos and videos taken at a medical facility, alongside a lengthy and heartfelt message reflecting on the difficult period she has endured.

Regina revealed that the past few months had been among the most challenging moments of her life, describing the experience as emotionally draining and deeply personal. According to her, the constant rumours and repeated allegations — some allegedly coming from her ex-husband and amplified by fans and online commentators — forced her into a space of self-reflection.

She explained that she initially hesitated to address the accusations publicly but eventually decided to take the drug test, not to prove anything to critics, but for her own peace of mind and integrity.

“I didn’t drown in it. Why? Because I was carried by overwhelming love, support, patience, and understanding from my family, my friends, members of the general public,” she wrote.

Regina admitted that seeing herself labeled a “drug addict” online was shocking and painful, especially after checking her reflection and knowing the accusations did not align with her reality.

“I paused, then I checked again. I looked at myself in the mirror repeatedly, searching so hard it almost felt like I was going psychic… because surely, I must be missing something,” she added.

She concluded by expressing gratitude to God, her family, and her supporters, stating that the experience has strengthened her resolve rather than breaking her.

I’m still standing, still growing, and just getting started,” she said, ending her message on a hopeful note as she welcomed the new year.
