Famous American rapper Kanye West has publicly apologized once more for his previous anti-Semitic comments.
His statement, titled “To Those I Have Hurt”, appeared in the print edition of the Wall Street Journal on Monday.
In the apology, West linked his past behavior to a brain injury he suffered more than 25 years ago in a car accident. The message, which was marked as “Paid for by Yeezy,” according to Daily Mail, was personally signed by the rapper.
West explained, “Twenty-five years ago, I was involved in a car accident that broke my jaw and caused damage to the right frontal lobe of my brain. At the time, no thorough scans were conducted, and neurological examinations were limited. The possibility of frontal-lobe injury was never considered. It was properly diagnosed only in 2023. This medical oversight significantly affected my mental health and contributed to my bipolar type-1 diagnosis.”
This renewed apology comes nearly three years after Kanye West’s initial attempt to make amends was rejected by the Jewish organization StopAntisemitism.
In other news…. Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has expressed deep gratitude and relief after winning a prolonged copyright dispute involving her YouTube film, Where Love Lives.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Ademoye thanked her mother, friends, creative collaborators, and her devoted online supporters—whom she affectionately calls her “cyber family”—for their unwavering support in ensuring that the infringing content was taken down.
She credited her mother for relentlessly pursuing the matter until it was resolved and appreciated colleagues who stood by her throughout the process. Ademoye also praised her fans for mass-reporting the infringing uploads until they were removed from all platforms.
Describing their support as overwhelming, the actress said the experience reaffirmed her faith and left her feeling joyful and protected by a fiercely loyal digital community.
The dispute reportedly began when an individual using the fake alias Emmanuel Davies falsely claimed copyright over a song featured in Where Love Lives. Although the track is fully owned by Ademoye and was used with the artist’s consent, it was allegedly uploaded to streaming platforms such as Spotify under Davies’ name as composer
