Media personality Radiogad has reacted to the backlash directed at billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, following recurring reports of accidents involving Dangote trucks that have left several people injured and others dead.
In a post shared online, Radiogad argued that much of the anger directed at Dangote is misplaced. According to him, the recklessness of some pedestrians who cross busy highways without caution is also a major contributor to accidents.
He wrote:
“Everybody is pouring out their frustration on Dangote, but they won’t blame those crossing the road carelessly. A sensible person will always look left and right before crossing.”

Radiogad’s opinion sparked mixed reactions on social media:
- @EmekaJeremiah1: “Where are the crosswalks in this country? Why should pedestrians have to navigate major roads on their own? Shouldn’t they have the right of way? Our roads are poorly designed, putting children and even adults at risk.”
- @_oxtega: “Lol, the way he always faces left in his videos, that’s exactly how his brain is positioned in his skull.”
- @THE_CRAFT3R: “No difference between him and Deeone. Both are just feeding off people’s anger and frustration.”
- @baddestc1991: “Honestly, people cross roads like they don’t value their lives in Naija. I always wonder if they even care about their own safety.”
