Racheal Adelaja Slams Colleagues After Surviving Near-Death Experience

Nollywood actress Racheal Adelaja has taken to Instagram to call out the insincerity and fake love she experienced from some of her colleagues after narrowly escaping death.

In an emotional post, Racheal expressed deep gratitude to God for sparing her life, revealing that a few months ago, she embarked on a journey she wasn’t sure she would survive. According to her, it was only by divine mercy that she returned alive.

“Mercy said no,” she wrote, emphasizing that God gave her another chance at life.

While she thanked those who genuinely reached out during the difficult period, she didn’t hold back in criticizing others who heard about her situation but chose not to call or send a message. Instead, she claimed, they were busy gossiping about her in different places.

She admitted that their silence and insensitivity hurt her deeply, but she chose to focus on gratitude. Racheal noted that had she died, many of those same people would have posted lengthy tributes online—yet ignored her when it truly mattered.

“God didn’t allow me to become a headline through death,” she added, thanking her Maker for preserving her life and exposing the people who never truly cared.

“Oba Alapadupe
The God who owns my life, the One who didn’t let me die before my time, I say Thank You, Lord.

A few months ago, I embarked on a journey I wasn’t sure I’d return from… but Mercy said no. God came through for me and gave me another chance at life. I’m deeply grateful.

To everyone who showed concern, stood by me, prayed for me, or reached out, may you never know sorrow.

To those who noticed my sudden absence on all social media and checked in, I truly appreciate you. E o ni fi iru e gba lagbara Olorun.

As for some of my Nollywood colleagues…
You heard about what happened, yet not a single call or text but you had the time to discuss me at different locations. It’s painful, but still, I thank God.
If I had died, some of you would have written the longest tributes online.

But God didn’t make me a headline through death.
He gave me life, and for that, I return all the glory to Him”.
