Queen Mercy Atang, popularly known as Queen BBNaija, is a Nigerian reality TV star, beauty queen, TV host, and philanthropist. Born on June 11, 1995, she gained nationwide fame after participating in Big Brother Naija Season 6 (Shine Ya Eye Edition) in 2021.

Queen Mercy Atang got married to UK-based biomedical scientist, King David Oyekanmi. They had their traditional wedding in March 2024. Despite being in the public eye, Queen has chosen to keep much of her marriage private, explaining that social media trolling and unwanted attention led her to delete their wedding photos and unfollow her husband on Instagram at one point. She clarified that their marriage is still intact and she’s focused on personal growth, self-branding, and protecting her peace.
