President Buhari Names CBN Deputy Governor, Edward Adamu as New AMCON Chairman
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Deputy Governor, Edward Adamu has been appointed Chairman of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
President Muhammadu Buhari has named Mr. Edward Adamu as Chairman of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON)
This was contained in a letter sent to the Senate by the President on Tuesday.
Edward Lametek Adamu is a Nigerian quantity surveyor, business consultant and leadership strategist. He is the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the country’s central bank.
He was nominated to that position by President Muhammadu Buhari on 1 February 2018, to replace Suleiman Barau, who retired in December 2017
