Content creator Tunde Perry has criticised Portable, alleging that the rapper is preventing opportunities for emerging artists following his recent insult of veteran rapper Olamide.

In a video that circulated online, Perry claimed Portable’s actions have had a negative impact on many up-and-coming talents, adding that industry leaders have privately discussed the matter.

“Portable has blocked progress for numerous upcoming artistes,” Perry stated. “I was part of a discussion with key industry figures recently, and Portable’s behaviour was a major topic. Olamide is generous and supportive, always helping young artists, but Portable has obstructed access to that support.”

Olamide is widely recognised for mentoring young musicians and providing platforms to showcase their talents. Perry’s comments suggest that Portable’s conduct could be limiting the opportunities available to aspiring artists within Nigeria’s music industry.
