Street-pop sensation Portable has hit back at controversial activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) with a diss track of his own, following the release of VDM’s mocking song.
In a video making the rounds online, Portable is seen in the studio, firing shots at VDM with scathing lyrics and bold accusations. One of the most talked-about lines from the track accuses VDM of homosexuality, as Portable questions:
“You dey dodi abi you no dey dodi?”
(A street slang asking if someone is sexually involved with men.)
This musical retaliation comes just days after VeryDarkMan dropped a diss track titled “Ole” (meaning “Thief”), where he taunted Portable over an alleged tricycle theft case and other past controversies.
