Portable Brags About Streaming Success, Slams Rivals for Using Promotions

Controversial street-hop singer Portable has launched a fresh attack on some of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeats stars following his recent release from jail.

The singer made the claims during a livestream session with fans on his Instagram page, where he accused long-standing industry heavyweights of deliberately limiting opportunities for emerging artistes.

Portable alleged that top stars such as Wizkid, Olamide, Davido, and Burna Boy have dominated the music industry for over a decade, making it difficult for new talents to rise to prominence.

According to him, the prolonged dominance of these artistes has restricted the growth and visibility of upcoming musicians who are struggling to break into the mainstream.

Beyond industry control, Portable also accused the stars of living exaggerated lifestyles for public consumption. He claimed that some luxury items and expensive jewelry often flaunted by celebrities are sometimes gifts, but are presented as personal purchases to boost their public image.

In his words, Portable alleged that claims of buying luxury items worth massive sums are often misleading, insisting that not everything showcased by top artistes reflects their true financial reality.

In other news….Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has reacted to widespread rumours suggesting that he and his wife, Temi Otedola, have welcomed their first child.

The speculation began after an X user circulated AI-generated images showing Temi, the third daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, cradling a newborn. The user claimed the couple had secretly welcomed a baby girl following their eight-year relationship.

“Finally! Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi have reportedly welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl after eight years together,” the post read.

The claim quickly sparked excitement online, with many fans taking to the comment section to congratulate the couple.

However, Mr Eazi swiftly dismissed the reports. Reacting on X, the singer sarcastically questioned whether his wife was even aware that she had supposedly given birth, effectively shutting down the false claims.

“Is Temi aware of this?” he asked, shutting down the rumours.
