Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams may be at risk of losing the $7.3 million Georgia mansion she fought hard to keep following her divorce from Simon Guobadia.

According to Us Weekly, Guobadia’s former divorce attorney, Onyema Farrey, placed an attorney’s lien on the property on June 10, claiming he is owed $205,884.25 in unpaid legal fees.

The luxurious five-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate spans over 15,000 square feet. It was officially awarded to Williams in the divorce settlement, but the debt tied to her ex-husband could now complicate her ownership.

Williams filed for divorce in February 2024 after 15 months of marriage, requesting that the court enforce their prenuptial agreement. Guobadia recently deported to Nigeria challenged the prenup, alleging Williams misled him during negotiations by saying she planned to be a stay-at-home mother instead of returning to reality television.

Weeks into the proceedings, Williams secured temporary exclusive use of the mansion, a decision the court later made permanent. When the divorce was finalized on June 11, the judge upheld the prenuptial agreement, ordered Guobadia to pay $40,000 in monthly spousal support for 14 months, and officially granted Williams ownership of the home.

However, the court’s decision came with conditions: Williams must give Guobadia 50% of the home’s equity and refinance the mortgage within three years to remove his name. If she fails to do so, the property will be sold.

Now, the six-figure lien tied to Guobadia’s legal fees could complicate her ability to refinance, placing her multimillion-dollar home at risk.

@Socialaudiodope:”Well, Porsha thought she was upgrading her life with that mansion, but it turns out she just inherited Simon’s mess. Guess marrying for money doesn’t always pan out when your ex decides to play hardball with the lawyers. Maybe she should stick to reality TV instead of reality checks.”

@Update1page:”Imagine getting the mansion in the divorce just to find out it comes with a built-in “repo” feature.”

@Aya_Muzi:”The best thing to do is to always have a huge debt against your mostly priced asset and when they divorce you give them that asset with its liabilities. Let them inherit your biggest problems.”
