Reality star Phyna has once again sparked controversy by claiming that the organizers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) have still not paid her the full prize money she won in 2022.
During a recent livestream with fans on Saturday, January 17, 2026, the “Level Up” winner expressed her frustration over the lingering debt, asserting that her previous public outcries were ignored or dismissed as lies.
“First of all, them no give me N100M. Shebi when I dey cry online Una talk say I dey lie. When I dey cry say dem dey owe me, Una talk anything?” Phyna has consistently alleged that several components of her reward package including cash equivalents, an all-expenses-paid trip for two, and various product supplies from sponsors remain outstanding. She noted that the delay has severely affected her career and personal life, forcing her to speak out despite the backlash.
While Multichoice Nigeria previously maintained they had fulfilled all obligations, Phyna continues to dispute this, insisting the unresolved payments left her with no choice but to go public again.
