Nigerian businessman Isaac Fayose has criticised the federal government over the rising cases of violence, kidnappings, and insecurity across the country.

Speaking in a video that has circulated on social media, Fayose accused political leaders of prioritising election ambitions instead of focusing on the safety of citizens.

“The government does not even care; they are more interested in winning the election than anything else,” he said.

Fayose also expressed concern about the scale of daily killings in Nigeria, claiming that the level of violence has become alarming.

According to him, the situation has become so severe that even international conflicts do not record similar levels of bloodshed in a single day.

He particularly condemned the abduction of women and children, describing the incidents as tragic and disturbing.

“People are dying like chickens, and yet some are still praising them. That is wickedness,” he said.

The businessman also criticised citizens who continue to defend political leaders despite the worsening security situation, warning that focusing on political power rather than protecting human lives is dangerous.

The comments have sparked reactions online as Nigerians continue to debate the country’s security challenges.
