The team representing popular Nigerian TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has finally spoken out following days of public speculation about his arrest and overall well-being.

According to earlier reports from Legit.ng, the Nigerian police confirmed Peller’s arrest after he deliberately crashed his SUV, an incident that sparked widespread attention online. Footage of the crash circulated on social media, with sources suggesting it may have been linked to emotional distress after a reported breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis.

In an official statement released on Wednesday, December 17, Peller’s management addressed the situation, aiming to clarify facts and ease public concern.

The statement acknowledged the circulation of rumors but emphasized that several reports were misleading or inaccurate.

It read in part:

“We, the management and official representatives of Mr. Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, wish to formally update the public regarding the recent incident and related developments.”

The team confirmed that Peller is in good health and not facing any immediate danger, adding:

“We want to assure everyone that he is safe, healthy, and doing well. There is no reason for concern at this time.”

Peller’s representatives also called on the public to avoid sharing unverified information or participating in online attacks against him. They highlighted that spreading misinformation could aggravate an already delicate situation.

The statement concluded:
