- A lawyer and pastor’s wife, Jemaimah, has sounded a strong warning about a troubling trend: an increasing number of married women are contracting STDs from their husbands

A lawyer and pastor’s wife, Jemaimah, has raised a powerful alarm about a worrying trend: the rising number of married women contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) from their husbands—even in homes that are meant to be Christian sanctuaries.
In a heartfelt Facebook post on Tuesday, she wrote, “The rate at which married women are getting STDs from their husbands is alarming, even in supposed Christian homes.”
Her message has struck a chord, shining a light on an issue often left unspoken behind closed doors.

In other news….. Nigerian singer Simi has weighed in on the trending video of Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson, who was forcefully taken off an aircraft at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
While most discussions have focused on the passenger’s alleged unruly conduct, Simi drew attention to another concern the handling and public sharing of her private exposure.
The incident happened on Sunday, August 10, after Comfort reportedly refused to turn off her phone before takeoff from Uyo to Lagos, in violation of aviation rules. According to Ibom Air’s statement, her refusal escalated into a confrontation upon arrival, during which she allegedly attacked staff. She was later handed over to the Nigerian Police Force.
A video recorded by someone at the scene captured the moment Comfort was dragged off the plane, exposing her indecently. The footage was later posted online without any editing or blurring.
Reacting via her Instagram stories, Simi made it clear she wasn’t excusing Comfort’s alleged behaviour but stressed that the viral clip raised serious questions about professionalism and privacy.
She wrote:
“So let’s say the lady is actually mad and did too much… Someone recorded her being dragged off the plane, recorded her being exposed like that AND THEN POSTED IT without editing out this exposure or blurring it out. Who posted it?”
