Kingsley Okonkwo, lead pastor of David’s Christian Centre, and his wife, Mildred, have celebrated two decades of marriage by renewing their vows.
The intimate ceremony was held during a church service on Sunday, September 21, and Pastor Okonkwo shared multiple clips from the occasion on his social media pages.
One video shows Mildred entering the church in a white gown as members cheered and captured the moment on their phones. Another captures Pastor Okonkwo, dressed in a black suit, joining her at the altar so they could exchange vows like newlyweds.
Posting one of the clips, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo wrote:
“I remarried on Sunday. Videos dropping back to back.”
In another post, gushing about his wife, he added:
“You are magnificent the way that you are.”
This vow renewal comes months after a touching moment when Pastor Okonkwo proposed to Mildred again, saying:
“I want to formally ask you again to marry me again this time. I didn’t propose officially before, so I want to propose officially to you.”
Photos from the celebration show Mildred radiant in her bridal gown and the couple beaming as they reaffirmed their commitment.
