Pastor who killed cex worker for ritual reveals why they r@p. ed her before and after killing her

Father of eight, Olusegun Otaru, who is also a pastor at the Voice of Cannan Temple (C&S) Aladura Church Ozuru in Adavi, Kogi State, has made a mind boggling confession following his arrest last week for killing a sex worker.

The suspect, who spoke to Independentng, disclosed that he raped the late sex worker identified as Miss Mercy Moses 19 before and after she was killed. The Pastor who killed the deceased for money ritual, blamed his actions on the devil and his quest to solve poverty that has bedevilled his family.

Otaru who participated in exhuming of three bodies from the burial grounds which he used to prepare concoction for money to no avail, stressed that the failure of the concoction made him look for a fresh human being which he thought would be efficacious. He further disclosed that he learnt the trade from one Alfa at Abeokuta before he relocated home, saying that he expected to reap over N2.5 million only from Miss Mercy Moses.

“We, first of all, took a turns to rape her and after we killed her. We also took turn to sleep with the dead body. We cut the head, the fingers and toes. We ground the fingers and the toes which we mix with other concoctions which we lick every morning expecting an inflow of money” he said.

Parading the pastors along five others, the state Police Public Relation Officer, ASP William Aya said the pastor through one of the hotel attendants in the town lured the sex worker, an indigene of Benue state from the hotel to his house where they carried out the act.

Three days after, when the cex worker was yet to return to the hotel, the attendant became apprehensive and called the pastor, only to be frustrated by his response. The attendant reported to the police in Adavi. But sensing that they were foot dragging, took the matter to the police headquarter in Lokoja who quickly swung into action and arrested three of them, with one still at large.

On having cex with the dead body, Yakubu who was arrested alongside the Pastor and Mike Stephen, said they believed sleeping with a dead lady will save them from having vehicular accident, said the sex act felt the same with a living soul. Police said they have launched a manhunt for the forth person, Mike Stephen and they will soon be charge to court.
