Pastor Adeboye And Wife Share Sweet Moment On Altar As They Celebrate 58 Years Of Marriage

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the wider Christian community in Nigeria joined in celebrating Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, fondly called Daddy G.O., and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, as they marked 58 years of marriage.

The couple, who tied the knot on September 8, 1967, commemorated their wedding anniversary on Monday, September 8, 2025. A touching video shared online captured the beautiful moment when Pastor Folu walked up to her husband on the church altar, and the pair embraced warmly, symbolizing nearly six decades of love and companionship.

Sharing the celebration on Instagram, Pastor Adeboye posted a heartfelt message that read:

“Celebrating 58 Years of Love, Bliss, and Endless Blessings! Happy wedding anniversary to our dearly beloved Daddy and Mummy G.O. We pray that your love continues to flourish and remain a shining testimony of God’s faithfulness until the very end. Amen.”

Pastor Adeboye and his wife, Folu, are blessed with four children three sons and a daughter as well as numerous grandchildren. Sadly, in 2021, the family lost their son, Dare Adeboye, who passed away at the age of 42.

The emotional anniversary video has since been widely shared across social media, with many offering prayers and well wishes to the couple for their remarkable journey together.
