A wedding celebration in Anambra State turned into a frantic search after the bride, Jennifer Chisom Ananti, disappeared on her wedding day, Friday, January 9, 2026.

Jennifer was scheduled to wed Celestine Odigbo, but she was nowhere to be found as guests gathered for the ceremony. Efforts to reach her via her mobile phone have been unsuccessful.

According to social media posts shared by politician Maria Ude Nwachi, the groom, Celestine, is deeply concerned and reportedly suspects her family’s involvement in her disappearance.

“The groom-to-be suspects foul play from her family,” Nwachi stated, highlighting the growing tension between the families following the incident.

A “Missing Person” poster featuring Jennifer’s photograph is currently circulating on social media platforms, with the family and security agencies appealing to the public for any information regarding her whereabouts.

We rented our first small apartment. Everything we have today was built from the ground up, with love, teamwork and perseverance. You don’t have to marry a poor man/woman but for the love of God be supportive of eachother dreams.

My hubby and i officially launched our second filling station DP Oil & Gas Filling Station alongside In & Out Restaurant❤️.”*
