Oyinbo Princess, a white woman, has opened a new canteen in Abule-Egba, Lagos, called Buka, and has been the subject of online speculation among Nigerians.
Princess not only advertised her new food business in Pidgin, but she also fully embraced the vibrant culture of Lagos, according to a video that has gone viral online.
Her eatery is more than just a place to eat; it’s also a welcoming gathering spot with a large screen and comfy seating, perfect for watching movies or playing games with friends.
The video, shot from the buka grounds, showed a group of enthusiastic Nigerian men entering the eatery to watch football.
At the front of the restaurant was a large banner advertising the regional specialties.
The restaurant, Oyinbo Princess Buka, serves a variety of regional specialties, including swallows (Amala, Eba, and Semo), as shown in the movie.
The ad showcased a variety of soups, including Egusi, Oha, Eforiro, and more.
People on social media couldn’t believe how fluently the Oyinbo woman spoke Pidgin.
