In a viral video shared on X, the girl explained that the man saw her in her school uniform after treating her father and later expressed interest in marrying her.
She said, “He married me when I was in JSS2, I was 13 years old. Some time ago, my father was unwell, my dad was taken to his place and he became well. I was going to school and I was called by him and he said he likes me. I told my parents, they said he’s their helper, but I told them I was not in support. Since then, he has been taking me to his house.”
The girl added, “I am 16 years old now.”
She explained that the situation has continued since she was 13.
When confronted, the man claimed, “I was told she is 20 years old” and insisted he was misinformed about her age.
