Asisat Oshoala, a Nigerian female football celebrity, aroused social media reactions with her comments following Anthony Joshua’s victory over Cameroonian boxer Francis Ngannou.

Since Nigeria’s victory against Cameroon in the 2023 AFCON second round, Asisat Oshoala said, the country has suffered consecutive defeats.

The knockout of Francis Ngannou marks Cameroon’s third defeat at the hands of Nigeria.

Asisat Oshoala was a member of Nigeria’s women’s squad that defeated Cameroon in the 2024 Olympics qualifications a few weeks ago.
