A woman has taken to social media to accuse her landlord of deliberately preventing tenants from owning vehicles, a claim that has stirred reactions online.
In a video shared on her page, the woman alleged that the landlord’s actions have caused both emotional and financial hardship for residents living in the building. According to her, tenants who previously owned cars were eventually forced to give them up due to ongoing issues.
“Our landlord is evil. He doesn’t want anyone in his house to own a car,” she said.
She further claimed, “Those who had cars eventually sold them after facing different problems and financial difficulties. He has been tormenting us physically and spiritually.”
The allegations have triggered widespread debate on social media, with many users questioning whether such behavior is lawful or enforceable under tenancy agreements. Others have called for authorities to investigate the situation to protect tenants from potential harassment or intimidation.
In other news…..Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti has sparked discussion after posting a live video urging the Federal Government to regulate pastors who claim to perform miracles.
He suggested that there should be legislation preventing individuals from claiming or performing miracles without verifiable evidence. According to him, anyone making such assertions should face consequences unless they can provide clear proof under proper medical supervision.
Kuti recommended that pastors who make these claims should undergo testing at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where their supposed miracles can be properly examined. He emphasized that verification should not rely on church testimonials or social media posts but should be conducted in a credible hospital environment.
He also stated that individuals should be able to reproduce the claimed miracle multiple times in front of medical professionals. For example, if someone claims they can restore sight, it should involve a case that doctors can confirm, rather than unprovable anecdotes.
Finally, Kuti insisted that anyone unable to provide such proof after making a claim should be held accountable. He called for strict enforcement to curb false claims and safeguard the public from deception.
He said: “A law should be made to ensure that no one is allowed to perform miracles, and anyone caught claiming to perform a miracle should be sent to jail. The only exception would be if the miracle can be proven at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
“They should perform the miracle for ten people at LUTH. I do not want to hear about fake miracles, because your God can do all things. I am not talking about miracles that claim to heal someone who has been blind their entire life. In this case I’m talking about someone with no eyeballs at all and if the miracle is real, the person should gain full vision. If you cannot perform the miracle, you should be held accountable.
“If a person is unable to perform the miracle, they should be sentenced to fifty years in prison.”
