“Our dream has come to pass” – 2Baba pens emotional note to late Sound Sultan

Sound Sultan’s friend and colleague 2baba hasn’t missed an opportunity to pay tribute to him, despite the singer’s passing occurring more than two years ago.

On his Instagram page, 2baba paid respect to him by sharing memories of him and times in his career that had profoundly impacted his life.

Even though their dreams of hearing African and Nigerian music had come true and he was now a rising star, the well-known musician told him he wouldn’t easily give in to the “new cats.”

He went added, “There are lots of stories to share with him as we get closer to the New Year.” 2Baba composed:

Recall Sound Sultan passed away on July 11, 2021, after battling ‘Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma,’ ‘Cancer of the throat.’
