Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Adeyanju stated that among all the Southern aspirants, only former President Goodluck Jonathan has the political strength and national appeal to defeat Tinubu in an election. However, he noted that Jonathan is unlikely to contest.
In his words:
“The only Southern candidate that can defeat Tinubu is GEJ and he will not run against Tinubu. All others are content creators who are entertaining their supporters and Nigerians. This post will make sense to you after the 2027 election. Tinubu is not Buhari or GEJ.”
