A previously circulated video involving actor Baba Ijesha and the foster daughter of comedian Princess has resurfaced online, stirring renewed reactions. The clip began trending again shortly after his recent interview with actress Biola Bayo.

In the interview, Baba Ijesha firmly rejected the allegations against him, maintaining that he is not guilty of the accusations. He alleged that the situation was orchestrated, claiming he was set up by Princess.

The actor, whose real name is Olarenwaju Omiyinka James, regained his freedom on November 14, 2025, after serving roughly three years in prison. He was first arrested in 2021 and, in July 2022, a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja sentenced him to 16 years imprisonment after convicting him on several charges linked to the assault of a 14-year-old girl.

Authorities later explained that his release was not due to a reversal of the judgment but in line with legal provisions regarding the completion of his sentence.

Following his release, Baba Ijesha shared his side of the story through a song. In it, he claimed he had been invited by Princess under the guise of participating in a skit, adding that food had been prepared for him, including pounded yam and other dishes.

He further alleged that he was instructed to play a younger character in a scene with a young girl. According to his account, the situation took a dramatic turn when individuals suddenly entered the room and began attacking him, despite his attempts to defend himself.

Reiterating his stance during the interview, he insisted on his innocence, saying he would rather remain in prison if the accusations against him were true.

Meanwhile, the resurfaced video showing moments of close interaction between him and the minor has triggered fresh outrage on social media, with many users expressing shock and concern over the footage.
