Odumodublvck Says Wike Has What It Takes to Be a Musician

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has stirred social media conversations with an unexpected take suggesting that Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has the potential to succeed in the music industry.

In a tweet shared over the weekend, Odumodublvck expressed his fascination with Wike’s vocal delivery, stating:
“I wish say Wike dey do music. I hear something in his vocals. I’m not joking.”

Wike, who served as the Governor of Rivers State from 2015 to 2023, became widely known for incorporating live musical performances into his public appearances. Since assuming office as FCT Minister, he has continued this tradition by relocating the live band to Abuja, where they now perform regularly at official events.

At a recent commissioning event for a road connecting Mabushi to Judges’ Quarters in Katampe, the Minister publicly promised to increase the band members’ salaries. The group has also gained popularity with viral tracks like As E Dey Sweet Us, Agreement Is Agreement, and Biggie Man.

Meanwhile, Afrobeats singer Omah Lay, whose real name is Stanley Omah Didia, made a bold declaration on social media. The Soso hitmaker took to X (formerly Twitter) to proclaim himself the greatest artist of his generation.

The 28-year-old wrote:
“HI GUYS! MY NAME IS OMAH LAY AND I AM THE GREATEST OF MY GENERATION, I DON’T HAVE PROOFS RIGHT NOW BUT THERE WILL BE A LOT IN THE FUTURE. THANKS. YOURS TRULY, BOY ALONE.”

Both Odumodublvck’s and Omah Lay’s statements have sparked widespread reactions, with fans praising their boldness and confidence.
