In other news, Popular media personality Daddy Freeze has shared how his outspoken criticism of Nigerian pastors led to major personal and financial losses, including the complete collapse of his businesses.

In a recent candid discussion with entrepreneur Stephen Akintayo, Daddy Freeze opened up about the consequences he faced after publicly questioning certain practices within Nigerian churches. According to him, his honest but bold critiques were not well received, and he suffered heavily for speaking out.

“When I came after Nigerian pastors, I lost 100% of my business. I lost everything. It all just disappeared,” he revealed.

The controversial figure, known for challenging popular doctrines, said that despite his intentions to address questionable religious practices, the backlash was intense and deeply damaging to his livelihood.

Beyond religion, Daddy Freeze also addressed what he described as a concerning divide between Christians and Muslims in business relationships. He noted that while Muslims are often open to collaborating with Christians, the reverse is not always true.

“Muslims are more open to working with Christians than Christians are with Muslims,” he stated, calling for more unity and openness.

The former on-air personality also touched on his past marriage and the long-standing domestic violence allegations made by his ex-wife. Without shying away, Freeze acknowledged that their relationship had intense and frequent arguments, some of which turned physical.

“In all fairness, we used to fight. And the fights got physical at times. You can’t just say, ‘This marriage isn’t working, I want to leave.’ In Nigeria, they expect drama. If you’re not seen as a monster, people won’t understand why you’re divorcing,” he said.

Freeze’s comments have reignited conversations about religious criticism, interfaith tolerance, and how society views divorce especially involving public figures.
