Nollywood Stars Console Peju Ogunmola As She Loses Only Son

The Nollywood community is grieving deeply as veteran actress Peju Ogunmola mourns the death of her only son, Ayomikun Oluwanisola.

The tragic news broke on Tuesday, leaving both colleagues and fans shocked and heartbroken. Since then, tributes have poured in from stars across the industry, who have taken to social media to console Ogunmola and her family.

Actress Biola Adebayo was one of the first to confirm the sad news in a post on Instagram. She wrote:

“This is a big loss. This is devastating and heartbreaking. This is tragic. May God almighty comfort Mummy Peju Ogunmola who just lost her only child,” she wrote, calling for prayers for the family.

Actor Odunlade Adekola also shared his condolences, saying:

“This is a big loss. God will console you ma …… and the whole family. E le yi po oo.”

Kunle Afod admitted the news left him with a heavy heart, reflecting the sorrow many colleagues felt.

Femi Adebayo expressed his grief, noting that the loss was beyond words. He wrote:

“Life has written a line too heavy for the stage… Today, we mourn with our dear elder, a thespian whose heart now carries the weight no mother should bear. My thoughts and prayers are with you ma. May Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”

Actor Ibrahim Yekini, also known as Itele D Icon, added:“A mother’s pain in losing her child is beyond words. Olorun ma fi ina omo jo gbogbo abiamo.”

Muyiwa Ademola admitted he was at a loss for words as he tried to comfort his colleague. He wrote:

“This is sad! It broke the heart. No accurate words of condolences. The only one to console you is God! May the Almighty be with you, Aunty. This is too much to shoulder, too much to bear. It is well.”

Adedimeji Lateef also described the tragedy as “pain beyond words,” praying for God to strengthen the Ogunmola family during this difficult time.
