The Ooni shared photos from the event on his official Instagram, describing it as a historic moment coinciding with the 10th anniversary of his coronation. He emphasized that the occasion highlighted the richness of Nigeria’s heritage, unity, and the divine guidance that has upheld the Oduduwa throne over the past decade.

He wrote, “It was with great joy that our nation witnessed the installation of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile-Oodua. This esteemed and symbolic title is truly befitting of someone who embodies honor, dignity, and service to our people. Her acceptance reflects a renewed dedication to promoting our cultural heritage and fostering unity across the nation.”

The ceremony saw the attendance of several notable figures, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, the Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.
