The actress made the remarks while speaking on the The Honest Bunch Podcast, where she discussed how financial dynamics can affect a man’s confidence in a relationship.
According to Anunobi, many men tend to feel uncomfortable or incomplete when they rely on a woman financially. She explained that, in her view, most men naturally desire to be providers and take responsibility within their homes.
“There’s no man that feels complete when a woman is feeding him. Forget it, don’t let anybody deceive you. A man wants to be able to give instructions to his wife. It’s a male thing,” she said during the conversation.
The actress further noted that earning his own money often gives a man a sense of confidence and fulfillment. She added that when a man depends entirely on a woman’s income, it may affect how he sees himself.
Sharing her perspective as a woman, Anunobi also said many women find happiness in being cared for by their partners.
“I’m a woman, I want to be taken care of. It’s the joy of a woman. Every woman, even if she is a billionaire,” she added.
