“No Longer Affiliated with Them”- Viral German Graduate Cuts Ties With German Language School

• Oluwaseyifunmi, the viral German language graduate from the University of Ibadan, has ended her affiliation with The German Language School due to concerns over the quality of its trial classes.

Oluwaseyifunmi, the University of Ibadan graduate who recently went viral for earning a degree in German, has announced her decision to sever ties with The German Language School, which had offered her a role following her online recognition.

In a public statement, Oluwaseyifunmi explained that her decision was due to concerns over the quality and coordination of the school’s trial classes, which she had initially promoted after assessing them herself. She personally managed onboarding, communication, and follow-ups with participants, taking full responsibility for the process.

However, she revealed that the trial sessions did not meet the standards she expected or felt confident recommending. This led to a loss of trust with her audience, prompting her to withdraw completely from the collaboration.

“I am no longer affiliated with The German Language School. Before working with them, I personally attended their classes, reviewed their social media platforms, and assessed their structure. Based on that, I agreed to collaborate and publicly invited my audience to a free trial class,” she said.

Oluwaseyifunmi added that she had informed the school privately and communicated transparently with participants. She emphasized that she is no longer connected to the institution in any capacity but wished them well going forward.

In other news… Queen Dami, the former wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, has filed a petition against her ex-boyfriend, singer Portable, accusing him of cyberbullying, blackmail, and related offences.

The development comes after Portable publicly claimed in a live video that he and Dami had reconciled, alleging that he had been spending nights with her and providing for her. He questioned why she was publicly denying their relationship.

In response, Dami took to her Instagram page to clarify the situation. She shared a screenshot of the petition against Portable, stressing that he is her ex and that any claims about them dating or engaging in sexual activity are false.

She further stated that she has moved on with her life and admonished Portable to stop spreading false and sexualized stories about her, describing such behaviour as disrespectful, harmful, and unacceptable.

I want to address something clearly and publicly.

Portable is my ex, and we are not in a relationship. Any claims that we are dating or that I visit him for sex are completely false. I want nothing to do with him and have moved on with my life.

Spreading false and sexualized stories about me is disrespectful, harmful, and unacceptable. I ask that he stop immediately and that people stop entertaining or sharing these lies, as legal actions have been taken.
