A heartwarming video has recently gone viral, featuring Nollywood icon Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, affectionately known as Omosexy, showing a foreign visitor how to truly enjoy Nigerian cuisine.
In the footage, Omotola, currently living in the United States, served content creator @yoeats23 a traditional meal of pounded yam accompanied by kponmo and Egusi soup.
As they prepared to eat, the visitor reached for a fork, but Omotola kindly corrected him, explaining that Nigerian dishes like pounded yam are traditionally eaten with the hands.
Following her instructions, he eagerly dug in, clearly impressed by her culinary skills and praising the delicious meal. The moment was filled with laughter and smiles, making it a genuinely heartwarming scene.
Omotola didn’t stop at pounded yam; she also introduced him to Jollof rice, which he enjoyed immensely, showing just how much he appreciated the taste of Nigerian food.
