Lagos state’s Ikotun – Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has predicted that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petroleum, will fall from N617/litre to N180.
In a previous video, Ayodele predicted this and encouraged Nigerians to “be hopeful.”
He attributes the prognosis to what he describes as the rivalry inherent in PMS price modulation.
President Bola Tinubu raised the price of fuel from N165 to N530, and then from N530 to above N600, upon taking office. As a result, there is an impact on the country’s economic operations.
The cleric said: “I’m seeing a petrol price. Nigerians need to be so patient. The price of petrol will crash. “Let’s say petrol will still come to about 180 thereabouts. But it might take a bit of time. But not too long. I think some months.”
He added: “Companies that the government has given the license to import, they are going to crash the price. So let us be very hopeful about the price of petroleum.”
