A Nigerian woman has raised concerns about a disturbing case of alleged fraud involving egg donation in Lagos.

Sharing her friend’s ordeal, she explained that the young lady was approached with an offer to donate her eggs in exchange for ₦170,000–₦200,000. According to her, the payment was said to be influenced by her height and fair complexion.

After undergoing preliminary tests that confirmed she was healthy, she returned the following day and was reportedly given drugs that left her feeling extremely drowsy.

When she regained consciousness, the doctors allegedly informed her that her eggs were “bad” and that she would not receive any payment.

Soon after, she began experiencing continuous bleeding. On visiting another hospital, medical professionals confirmed that her eggs had actually been harvested and that she had been injected with hormones.

In other news…… Nigerian comedian Deeone has claimed that financial advisor and online personality Geh Geh “stole” the spotlight from TikTok creator Peller.

Speaking on the Echo Room’s Link Up podcast, Deeone recounted how Peller first introduced Geh Geh to his audience, only for the move to backfire as fans quickly switched sides.

“I saw the way he stole Peller’s destiny. He stole his shine, took his star,” Deeone said. “Because the moment Peller introduced Ghe Ghe to his fan base, Peller fan come dey say, ‘Omo, I rather dey with this university of wisdom and understanding.’”

According to the comedian, it wasn’t just a case of divided attention Peller lost the loyalty of followers who once supported him.

Deeone acknowledged that Geh Geh has carved out his own niche with clever advice and an offbeat style, but he suggested the entertainer may have hurt his own momentum with a song referencing Saida Boj.

The comedian also addressed rumours of a feud with Afrobeats star Davido. He dismissed any talk of bad blood, saying their relationship remains cordial.

“Davido listens to correction. Everything that I have corrected David about, you can see that he has adjusted,” Deeone explained. “He don reduce to de chase clout dey prove himself to people. Na because of Deeone.”

He added that Davido’s willingness to accept feedback is one of the traits he respects most about the singer.
