The plea was revealed in a post on X by @_belikebaddy, who shared a screenshot of the message.

The surgery beneficiary, whose campaign was led by influencer Dickson, successfully raised the funds within two weeks, only to be told by a user to “secretly gamble a large portion of it” in hopes of winning big.

The message read, “Free ₦16 million, run it brother. Run it off the books without anyone knowing.”
