The event was supposed to start at 1 p.m., but Veekee James arrived at 5 p.m., much later than expected.

In her absence, the host attempted to keep the show moving until she arrived.

While some people left in frustration, many others stayed and took advantage of the opportunity to meet new people and have fun.

Veekee apologised for being late and thanked her supporters for showing up for the event.

There was also a lottery draw in which some lucky winners had the opportunity to loot Veekee James’ wardrobe.

The fashion designer also handed out her wedding and reception outfits to prospective couples.

However, the young lady did not receive anything, and the wig she was wearing at the event was stolen from her.

Her only joy was the opportunity to take a photo with Veekee James, whom she praised for being a really nice person.
